I completely forgot to brag about our new rug! This was one of our wedding anniversary gifts to each other back in June (our red patio umbrella was the other one!). It's the Brice rug from Pottery Barn, which we'd been eyeing for some time. It just happened to be on sale at the store when we were buying the umbrella and !woot! we bought one.
The Den is damn cozy now, and the colors are a nice complement to the various schemes going on in this room. (PS: The table that I dragged upstairs in an ill-advised attempt to refinish it would replace this one, its twin.)Also, much better than before. This photo is about one year ago:

That big table is great - is it something you had made, or is it from a store?
Ah! Thanks, Jason! That was a table that the previous owner made. He was a wood worker (he did all the woodwork in that room - pretty awesome) and was commissioned to re-do the doors to the gate house in Frick Park, one of the two major parks here in Pittsburgh. So the table is the original gatehouse door, which he turned into a table. Pretty incredible, right? I guess the POs weren't all bad...
