Fun photo. Our kitchen is not much different than this now, even though it was "updated" with a new sink and appliances. Not fans of granite, but we are finding it a bit difficult to figure out where to put all of our 21st century stuff.

I haven't seen old kitchen photos in awhile, but it seems to me they use to have kitchen furniture in there, like open shelves and so on for storage and a whacking big table to work on.
