The Yard, part 3

We filled up the entire dumpster with weeds and yard debris. That's 10 cubic yards, or 10 washing machines full. We're going to need to get another dumpster for clearing out the basement!

Now we can see our neighbors! Hello, neighbors!
That's the woman that runs the small nursery on the other side of the alley. She's been very enthusiastic about our yard-clearing efforts; friendly and encouraging. And now we feel like we can patronize her very cool establishment without the shame of a hellacious yard.

We still need to get rid of that enormous dead tree trunk and the pile of stuff next to it, but otherwise, everything is fabulously clear and ready for the next step.
